Hi everyone, just letting you know I don’t have a usual WordPress blog post schedule at the moment. I’m currently in the middle of producing a brand new album which is slowly but surely piecing together.

The most important thing that has been put into place lately is that all my music is now streaming on Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music under the name ‘George Blamey-Steeden’. ‘Zoolon’ is no more.
If you enjoy my music whether following, ‘liking’, sharing or simply streaming from time to time on those platforms I mentioned above helps me out massively and is much appreciated. In the meantime I’ll still be reading your posts.
There are always so many pieces to put together. I like your name. It has a nice flow to it. Like the first line in a Haiku.

Thanks. It was about the right time to use my real name, at last. A name beginning with a ‘Z’ was a pretty daft idea think back. It’s good to hear my real name seems OK. Thanks again ~ George

Curious why you nixed Zoolon?

Thanks, David. The problem was Zoolon beginning with a ‘Z’. It tends to put me in the back of the line. It was about time I used my real name. Thanks again ~ George

I agree – when I started a business I gave the name AA—- because back then it appeared first in the list in the Yellow Pages😄. But I liked the name Zoolon🤓 too. Good luck!

Thanks for that. I needed a change anyhow. Already business is looking good up and I’ve not finished the revamp yet. Thanks again ~ George

Hi George, I’ll be honest it threw me at first when I got an e-mail linked to Zoolon Hub under the name of George… who the heck? I pondered, I understand though, having also recently started using my real name as opposed to my alter-ego: ArcaneHalloween. After 7 years of writing under that moniker, I decided to actually credit my work to the real me, as opposed to the fictional variant. I don’t comment very often, but may I say I very much enjoy your posts, so thanks for sharing. Oh, and I’m also a fellow South Westerner, living in Exeter, as I believe you’re originally from Dartmouth! 🙂

Thanks, Bruce. It’s a big decision but worth it. Now the lockdown is on the run, this was the right time. I bought my first guitar in Exeter as it happens. Thanks again ~ George

But, but, but…I have a t-shirt & sweatshirt with ZA on it! I liked Zoolon…😉😎
The Z would definitely put you way at the bottom. Good that you are doing new stuff. Looking forward to it. 😁💕

Thanks. ZA is good still. It’ll take ages to remake all of the media. No worries ~ George

Thanks, Pam. ‘Z’ wasn’t helping, especially in lockdown. It takes a little time but already the new stats starting from nothing are looking good so far. Thanks again ~ George

I was wondering where you were and apparently you had been dropped off my follow list. I thing several blogs have gone missing. Oh well. You’re back now and that’s what matters.

Followed you on Amazon Music and Spotify. Two outta three ain’t bad (so I hear). 🙂
Well done for using your own name, George.

Ah, that’s a shame – I can’t listen to any of your songs on Amazon because I don’t have the Unlimited package (I just have the basic Prime music account).
Ne’er mind – I’m listening to Rainbows End (you sure that should be Rainbow’s End, as in the end of the rainbow?) (unless, of course, you mean it as a tribute to the 2006 science fiction novel by Vernor Vinge) on Spotify. Oh, wait – it just switched me over to Amazing by George Michael. Wrong George, Spotify!

Spotify is good. I’m George Blamey-Steeden there. I’m hoping the new stuff will be out soon. Pollen allergies have put the block on these last few days. A nuisance. Thanks ~ George

Funnily enough, the competition winner in my green stars contest is named George, but that’s actually his pseudonym! https://greenstarsproject.org/2021/08/04/ethical-consumer-uk-subscription-competition-results/

How’s that album coming on, George? And is that Garageband I see on your screenshot? That’s what I use! 🙂 My next big project will be a blues interpretation of the works of The Smiths. Yeah, I know – a little before your time. Anyhow, I hope you’re okay and are keeping your spirits up.
