Originally from my song, ‘Liquid Truth’ – written in 2012, me a first year music student back then – these words below open Zoolon’s new book called, ‘LOOKING FOR REASONS’. They just about sum me up.

‘When will all the pieces come together,
And if I don’t like the picture am I stuck with it forever?’

Someone wrote me some kind words for the blurb for the book. Thanks for that. It reads like this;

‘Zoolon is better known as an accomplished songwriter, sound artist and musician with 5 albums to his name. He also writes in his own distinctive style. Following on from his first book entitled ‘The Words & Thoughts of a Dyslexic Musician’, the ‘LOOKING FOR REASONS’ new collection is an assortment of lyrical verses and short stories themed around today’s hapless society, it’s pluses and minuses, along with his own off-centre take on a dying planet. He’ll make you laugh, think and sometimes cry, but it will be worth it’.

If you’re interested, ‘LOOKING FOR REASONS’ is available on Amazon, either as a paperback or on Kindle. The UK link is below. Outside of the UK, just type in ‘Zoolon Audio’. The purchase prices have been cut right back, hence they’re not expensive. On Kindle Unlimited it’s even free!

Time for some music. Today, ‘The Pigeons are Switzerland’. I hope you enjoy;

  1. Congrats! That is a real accomplishment! On another note we were video talking to our son who lives in London. At the moment he is working on a political campaign, for two months, in Montenegro. While talking with him I noticed he was wearing one of your t-shirts. It is black and has the busker in Berlin graphic on it. So you are represented in Montenegro!

    1. Thank you, Anne. I like the thought that the shirt has got to Montenegro. In fact you’ve reminded me that I need to update the range. I keep meaning to do that. Lockdown tends to put me off doing anything when it really should be the opposite. Thanks again ~ George

    1. Thanks. I guess, like anything else, it begins to die from the moment it’s born. Thoughtless human activity just happens to be bringing earth’s death forward – unless we show it a bit of respect. Some will disagree, I know. Thanks again ~ George

      1. I have a great deal of faith in Mother Earth. She knows exactly what she is doing despite the mess we have made. She is more powerful than you can imagine. Have you read about her moving her poles (or, rather, “righting” herself)?

        I totally agree that we need to show LOTS of respect for her. No doubt. I try to get outside as much as possible, with my bare feet on the ground and talk to her. We are in the middle of Winter so…that’s hit or miss.

        Don’t you fret, George. She is strong, she is smart and…she has guardians. No worries, love.
