  1. I just heard the title track and I just wanted it to never stop. Yours is a Beetle voice and Fifi’s voice blended in together perfectly with yours. She has a piquant tinge to her voice. More like a pixie singing, it’s a harmonious melody.

    1. Thanks, Shey. It’s one of those numbers where the words started out as verse on my blog and morphed into a song later. I’m pleased with this. Thanks again ~ George

  3. Wow, George, this is awesome. I don’t think I have heard a duet before in your music, your voice is amazing and Fifi adds something so beautiful to these wonderful lyrics, Congratulations on this George, it’s wonderful.

      1. Thanks. ‘Shadow on the Wall’ was one I wrote back in uni for a songwriting module. The original never got mixed and mastered because that wasn’t what the module was about. Under pressure to do it properly I rerecorded. Glad you liked it. Thanks ~ George

    1. Thanks. I really appreciate your support. That’s not a throwaway line, I mean it. It was good to see your comment, especially after the afternoon I just had. Seagulls were the cause. Even though they are my favourite bird that doesn’t stop a squadron aim at my car. Big time. I should have taken a photo – the windscreen was a work of art; it was surreal; the guys at the car wash wanted to charge me double it was that bad.
Can I call you ‘Clockwork Jewel’? That’s a name that sounds like a Victorian detective and is much better name than my dyslexic’s nightmare name, George Alexander Blamey-Steeden.
      Thanks again ~ George

  4. JGC, congratulations on the release of ‘Devil’s Kiss’. Rex and I had a Zoolon Day, which we really enjoyed. We listened to your complete discography, along with your albums, Cosa Nostra and Liquid Truth, more favorites. Your creativity continues to delight with or without lyrics, dark or whimsical, your music paints the most vivid images along with a variety of feelings/emotions. The newest EP is terrific, I find the tracks to be eclectic and they work so well together. I’m having a hard time picking just one as a favorite. Wishing you continued success. ~ PM

    1. Thanks so much, PM. I’m glad you and Rexie enjoyed yourselves. I wish I could find the files for Cosa Nostra. I’d like to rearrange it a little, then mix and master it properly. On the existing version only the last 4 tracks are close to having the professional touch. I’ll have to search some more in the old external hard drives. I found video of me and Charlie the nutty briard dog the other day in one hard drive. I’m about 3 years old dishing out high volume orders to my mother and sister. Embarrassing or what. Enjoy your day ~ JGC

    1. Thank you. This number just got curated and has been trending on the ‘listened to’ stats so I’m pretty pleased – so far; so good ~ George
