Mad Lady Interviews ZOOLON – well maybe not ‘mad’; more like generous. Thank you, Jean Lee

Now here’s a fine fellow I’m excited to share with you. Yes, he’s written a book, which is awesome, but I’M keen to share him with you because of his creativity with music. If you’ve visited my blog before, you know how important music is to my writing, so to speak with a songwriter is a great honor, indeed!

Let’s start with an introduction first, shall we? Give us a bit about who you are and what you do.

When will all the pieces come together? And if I don’t like the picture am I stuck with it forever?

a line from a song I wrote when starting out.

The words stayed with me. Kept me honest. A mantra for the inspiration self-doubt hands out in shedloads when it feels like it.

  1. So happy I got to do this! And I’ll have you know your talk about dyslexia made a young boy’s day–a dear blogging friend here (another Englishman, no less) shared your words with his son. He’s an 11yr old struggling with his dyslexia in school, so finding out how one can succeed made him really hopeful. I might have to nag you some more for some encouraging words–from how his dad talks, the school’s been a bunch of pissers.

    1. Sorry I missed this earlier. Yet again, someone cancelled their previous likes on everything I’ve ever posted then liked them all again. What’s that all about? It messed up my Reader good and proper. Anyway, it’s good to hear that I might have helped someone. As of lunchtime today I finished the first book I’ve ever managed to get though! ‘The 100 Year War’ – a history book. I used an old Kindle that I’d updated best it could update and enlarged all the text. It wasn’t easy but ‘game over’ – now for some more ~ George

  2. JGC, congratulations on the wonderful interview with Jean Lee. I learned some new things about your process. I’m looking forward to the new collection, and with the line, “something entirely different” make this most intriguing. ~ PM

    1. Interviews, any interviews, are a bit weird because you have to give bits of you away. It’s never easy unless you’re Mr Ego. I hope I got the balance right. Thanks for reading, PM ~ JGC
